Accreditation
Baker College is regionally accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Institutionally, Baker College Center for Graduate Studies MBA program has received specialized accreditation through the International Academy of Collegiate Business Educators (IACBE).
Academics
In Baker College’s online MBA degree program, students are able to choose when and where they complete their assignments. With everything occurring online, students are never forced to travel to and from a campus, allowing them to focus more on their studies. Admission
Candidates applying for matriculation into the MBA program must submit the following materials:
- Completed application
- Non-refundable application fee of $25.00
- A typed essay (500-1000 words) addressing the candidate’s reasons for entering the program
- Official college transcripts indicating an undergraduate degree with a GPA of 2.5 or better (4.0 scale) from a regionally accredited college or university
- Three letters of recommendation from professional or academic references
- A current resume indicating a minimum of three years of full-time, professional work experience
- GMAT or GRE scores may be submitted if the candidate wants the scores considered in the admission decision
Tuition and Financial Aid
For the 2012-13 school year, the cost of the MBA program is $390 per credit hour (also referred to as quarter hours). Base tuition for the program is $19,110 (a 49-credit quarter hour degree).
Baker College participates in a variety of student loan programs from federal and private sources that must be repaid. Federal loan programs are options for U.S. citizens and legal residents. Private education loan programs are options for all applicants, including international students. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid and the Financial Aid Data forms are required to determine eligibility.
