Ashworth College has combined three schools (Professional Career Development Institute, Ashworth College, James Madison High School) into one upper level educational institution. As a result, the school has been able to increase the number of courses and programs it offers, while also expanding its support services. Ashworth College welcomes individuals from all backgrounds and ages, and is devoted to enhancing its students’ knowledge and skills.
Accreditation
Ashworth College is an accredited member of the Distance Education and Training Council. The Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a globally recognized accrediting agency for online learning schools and distance education. All aspects of the university such as the curriculum and administrative policies are reviewed and held to high standards. Although Ashworth is an accredited institution, its business programs do not have specialized accreditation.
Academics
At Ashworth, you can earn an online master’s degree in three semesters. The school operates a rolling admissions policy, so you can begin your studies when it makes the most sense to you. All programs are self-paced. You choose the time you want to study and you control how fast you go. If you are feeling energetic, you can accelerate your studies and complete the MBA program in as little time as a year. Each student has access to tutors to help you succeed. Admission
Other schools may put significant emphasis on previous academic performances or SAT scores, but Ashworth is a big believer that everybody should have access to an education. Every program is available on an open enrollment basis, meaning you will not have to wait for the start of a new semester to begin learning. To be admitted to a graduate degree program, students must have a bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited college or university with a minimum grade point average of 2.5. No GMAT or GRE exam scores are required. Students are able to begin learning immediately when they submit their initial payment. The school offers students considerable flexibility with the option to enroll in just one semester at a time.
