Academics

Ashford University’s MBA program offers students practical management knowledge. Students study foundational courses such as finance, human resource management, information systems, and marketing. At Ashford, students can customize their education by choosing to enroll in other classes such as business economics, environmental management, and entrepreneurship. Students take one course one at a time for six weeks each, in an asynchronous online environment.

Admission

Students must have a regionally or approved nationally accredited bachelor’s degree with minimum 2.0 GPA to apply to the Ashford MBA program. In addition to this academic criteria, students must possess the following online competencies:
  • Ability to access course and program material on the Internet
  • Ability to correspond with University staff, students, and faculty using email and the Internet
  • Ability to use appropriate antivirus utilities so that files transmitted and received are virus free
Ashford University does not currently accept students in Arkansas, Kentucky, Minnesota or Mississippi. Ashford University only accepts students that graduated in 2008 or earlier, and are at least 22 years of age or older.

Tuition and Financial Aid

For the 2012-13 school year, the cost of the MBA program is $585 per credit, resulting in a $24,570 base tuition for a 42-credit program. Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
